Blogging is now well and truely underway in Room 2. I am trying to think of ways to ensure that is is used to extend the learning in the classroom. Offering extra revision of maths strategies, opportunities to extend questioning techniques and share extra learning at home seem to have been the most successful ways. Putting links to websites and then asking for feedback has been a great way to extend children's learning. Now that the children are contributing regularly to the blog, I am wanting to encourage them to think about the quality of their responses - checking spelling and ensuring that the content shows knowledge, learning or thinking.
